F.A.M.E acronym for (FASHIONED AND MADE FOR EXCELLENCE) is a volunteer-driven social impact initiative. We are a movement of young, passionate and service-driven individuals who have accepted responsibility for community development, social change, and national transformation. We launched in on May 27, 2017, and we are fully registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria as the FASHIONED AND MADE FOR EXCELLENCE FOUNDATION (CAC/IT/NO125339). We are a non-profit leadership education organization working to imprint an authentic picture of what leadership is in the minds of young people in Nigeria and Africa. We help our beneficiaries to move from a wrong fixed mindset they already have about leadership to a well informed value-driven mindset, we help these young leaders reshape their minds, become more conscious of the leaders within them and inspire them to start making positive changes in their communities. Our flagship programs are the Fame Illuminate Programme, Fame Club Programme, the Fame Clean Programme, and our Mentoring Support Services. In just over 27 months of our operation, we have impacted over 9000 youths spread across over 70 schools and 40 underserved communities via our programs and we have empowered over 200 young Nigerians through our Fame Clubs at strategic underfunded secondary schools in Ibadan. Given our volunteer-driven model, we currently have over 200 active citizens who provide volunteer support to us as Facilitators, Mentors, Advisors and Content Contributors. Our work has been recognized by Fela Durotoye, Ideation Hub Africa and recently Ashoka.
